The founders of Maine AirParks are not financially able to do this project alone, so we approached pilot / investors experienced in real estate development. They are very much interested in the project, but with the recent real-estate slump, want to be sure there is enough demand. That’s why we are conducting a survey of the viability of an airpark in Maine.

Maine
Airparks began as a dream but with perseverance this dream will mature into a
business and potentially several residential developments. We recently have
discovered a potential site that is very well suited to become our first
airpark. This largely undeveloped private airport features a well drained
3200X100’ turf runway surrounded by pines and hardwoods with enough room for
20-30 house lots with direct runway access.
Financial
planner and accountant, Licensed pilot with contacts and experience in EAA and
AOPA. Tom is one of the co-founders of Maine AirParks and will assist in the
development, planning, fund raising, and the airpark design.
With
more than 15 years in the construction industry combined with his creative
landscaping experience, Shawn is one of the co-founders of Maine AirParks. Shawn
will serve as the Project Developer and Construction Manager.
Assistant
Treasurer for a Maine Utility. Margaret is a former
Student-Athlete and coach. She graduated from the University of Maine with a
B.S. in Elementary Education, 2003 and M.S. in Human Development, 2005. She
holds a Maine Real Estate license through Century 21 Venture. Margaret has
developed a strong network of contacts. Margaret is a Co-Founder of Maine
Airparks and serves in the capacity of sales agent, and supporter of both
husband and father.
